Shishir Shinde is a politician from the Maharashtra state of India. He started his political career through Shiv Sena. He became popular as the leader of few shivsainiks who digged the pitch of Wankhede Stadium in 1991. He left Shiv Sena in 2006 and joined the political party of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). Since 2009, he is a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. Previously, he has been member of Maharashtra Legislative Council in 1996-2002.
